Seth Schwindenhammer makes is NY/Penn debut. Yahoooo.
On the other side of the coin is the RHP, Randy Miguel Consuegra from Colombia, who has struggled. I feel really bad for the kid. I’m is newest fan and cheering squad for as long as he’s on the team. Hate to see a kid struggle like this.
ERA: 270.00, 10 ER, 10 BB, 2 WP

You are looking to
piss off all of Boss’s relatives(who voted for him). Next you’re going to reveal his real first name. His brother is also hitting well – so be careful.
Well, that's kind of the point.
This wasn’t so much supposed to be a “who’s got family on the website” thing. I’m just saying, he went from 0 votes in previous rounds to the winning total instantly. Suspicious, yes?
Not calling out Boss himself for anything, God knows. I don’t think he was top-20 prospect material at the time because there were a lot of guys with big power potential that hadn’t had it shine through particularly well—generally speaking, the only thing that set Boss apart on a purely subjective level seems to be that he has family on this site, which was enough to sway things during the dead weeks of summer deep in the rankings when voter turnout slowed down—but that’s not a shot at Boss himself beyond saying, for the time being, he is what a lot of very young players are: All promise.
Now that he’s showing some of that promise in his actual performance (and, oh, those two early homers after last year’s power outage are very big news as far as I’m concerned, I’m just saying that he’s separating himself from the rest of the masses who’ve got big offensive potential but no actually significant offense. If this isn’t a blip on the radar, he’s likely to actually start moving towards that spot on lists irregardless of his family.
Go Boss! Moko too! There’s no rooting against our prospects going on here. Well, except for Jon Still, and that was just because half the time Portland had big games I’d go in hoping for Lars or Reddick, or Kalish to have a couple hits and a dinger only to discover that Jon Still had randomly gone 5-5 with 2 longballs. It’s an odd phenomena.

And not just that he had family here
But that he had family that “called in the reinforcements”, so it seemed. Otherwise he’d have had a good few votes every week.
