Josh Reddick Called Up, Robert Manuel Sent Down
It seems J.D. Drew isn't quite ready yet, so the Red Sox called up Josh Reddick from Pawtucket. Reddick is starting tonight's game in Colorado.
In return, Robert Manuel was sent back down to Pawtucket. Manuel did not appear in any games for the Red Sox during his promotion.

This could mean that Drew may still help us
by getting some playing time on this road trip. I"m fine with the move. Manuel will get back up to Boston real soon. Let’s hope we don’t see extra innings.
Just happy to have Hall on the bench
WHERE HE BELONGS!
Wait 'til next/this year?

What do you dislike about the move?
Drew won’t be available until Thursday, they are short an outfielder, Manual hasn’t pitched, they have 7 relievers and Matsuzaka will be returning soon.
Exactly. Without losing Drew to the DL for 15 days (retro)
the choices with options available are Manuel, Richardson, or Atchison and he just pitched very well as our long man. Richardson is a lefty.
BBS, what move would you make?
