Che-Hsuan Lin: 1-4, K
Luis Exposito: 3-5, 2B, HR, CS
Anthony Rizzo: 1-5, 2B, K
Yamaico Navarro: 3-4, 2 HR, BB
-Navarro just keeps building his season up. Perhaps the best part of this is that it came primarily against righties. A good one, too.

Stephen Fife: 7 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 6 K, 1 HR

Alas, the hits don't come from who you might hope.

Kolbrin Vitek: 0-2, K
Bryce Brents: 0-3, BB, K
Brandon Jacobs: 1-4, K
David Renfroe: 0-4, 2 K
-Watch out, Renfroe. I think three bad games is officially a bust. That's written somewhere. Maybe.

Madison Younginer: 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K
-A successful debut. Nice to see only one walk.

Was no one else in the lineup for the Pawsox?
If they scored seven runs, there must have been more than that

Mostly journeymen

Shealy, Angel Sanchez, Velazquez. Bubba Bell went 2-for-3 with a 2B and a BB, so I could you could count him. Dusty Brown had a nice day too.

All of those post prospects are good insurance

in the event of more Boston injuries this year. Glad to see them playing well but hope we won’t need them.

Reminder: Anthony Ranaudo pitches for the Brewster Whitecaps today at 5:00 in the Cape Cod League.
This link says they will be live streaming games;

Any idea if they're doing a 3 or 5 man rotation?

I’ll be watching Cape baseball this weekend and I’m hoping to see Ranaudo chuck…

This link shows the Brewster Whitecaps

have played six games this year and have had six different starters
Ranaudo will make seven today, so they must still be setting up their rotation.

Damn

I’m set to see Brewster play on Friday at 5. Odds of him starting that game are slim, I guess.

Brewster has Monday off and then they play six days in a row

before having another Monday off. If Ranaudo doesn’t pitch on Friday the 25th, they play just off Cape @ Wareham 7:00 Saturday, 26th and then Sunday, 27th starting at 2:00 in the afternoon back in Brewster vs the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

What a weird game for Clay

No hits, but five walks and only one strikeout…

If anyone can find injury info on Yeiper Castillo,

RHP for the Greenville Drive, it would be greatly appreciated. He has been on the 7 day DL since last Sunday but I can’t find out what the injury is. Thanks.
