Josh Beckett Pushed Back, But Good News for Mike Cameron
Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe brings good news and bad news.
Bad news first: Josh Beckett's recovery schedule has been pushed back 10 days--he won't even start to get ready until the middle of June. This will mean about another month of starts for Tim Wakefield as Beckett looks to find his delivery again and get healthy.
On the bright side of things, Mike Cameron's visit to a specialist has revealed that there's no new problem behind his abdominal soreness. He will still sit for a few days until he feels right again, but after that he should be back to normal. With the possibility that he might be due for another DL trip arising after sitting last night, this is very good news.

Woohoo!!
I’m glad Cam’ll be back sooner rather than later, it’s been said before, but last night was a pretty good show of why we need a real center fielder.
Let Us Pray
No other starters go down until Josh is ready, because I want nothing to potentially do with Boof Bonser. Let us also give thanks that Clay Buchholz has performed so well thus far.
