first year fully concentrating on pitching, A to AA is the hardest leap, and he’s just 20
Especially since starting him in high A this year was probably pushing it in the first place. He just needs some time adjusting to batters three years older than him. Like you said, A to AA is the worst.

Indeed, I expected him to struggle
He’s had some good outings, especially recently, he’s just learning to be consistent and use all his pitches, just like any young pitcher.
