Minor Lines curse…
"We are not normal, We are Legends. People will tell their kids about us." - Deon Butler before Ohio State Game 2008.

late inning reliever
Throws hard. Nasty breaking ball. No real third pitch.

He's been out for a bit.
Hip flexor. 1-3 weeks is expected, I believe.

Bowden for bullpen?
If Bowden keeps this up, could he help in the Sox bullpen soon? If he continues to have success at AAA, they should give him a shot to help the big team. He has been around a while now and now would be a good time to find out what he can do.
I have a really good feeling about Bowden.
A feeling he’ll be a Pirate before long.

Maybe they drop him from the 40-man
to make room for someone who might actually contribute. Waived, released, traded for a bag of balls and a new infield tarp. Obviously I’m not a big fan.
