Minor Lines 6/13/10: So Many Strikeouts
Pawtucket L 1-3
Lars Anderson: 0-3, 2 BB
-OK, for anyone not following along, Lars' GB% is officially scary again.
Aaron Bates: 0-3, 2 BB, 2 K
Josh Reddick: 0-4, K
Jorge Jimenez: 0-3, BB
Adam Mills: 6 IP, 9 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 0 K
-That's like the opposite of a three-outcome hitter...
Why, Tony, why? after the jump.
Portland W 3-0
Che-Hsuan Lin: 0-4, BB, K
Luis Exposito: 0-5, 2 K
Anthony Rizzo: 0-4, 2 K
Yamaico Navarro: 1-3, BB
-At least one guy hit tonight. He's been pretty good since the DL stint actually.
Stephen Fife: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 5 K
-Fife does not look like someone who struggled adapting to Salem late last year. Sox have to be pleased with the results of their little risk.
Eammon Portice: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
Jason Rice: 1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
Salem L 4-5
Pete Hissey: 2-5, 3 K
Ryan Lavarnway: 3-5, K
-Gotta imagine its his catching skills that are keeping him in A-ball. If Ibarra is placed in AA, then he'll likely have an even longer wait if he doesn't switch positions.
Oscar Tejeda: 0-4, BB, 3 K
Will Middlebrooks: 0-4, 3 K
-I'mma cry...
Ryan Dent: 0-4, 2 K
Greenville W 5-4
Jeremy Hazelbaker: 1-3, 2B, 2 BB, SB
Derrik Gibson: 1-5
Michael Almanzar: 0-3, BB, K
Reymond Fuentes: 1-4, 2B, 2 K, 2 SB

I don’t know his GB% but his BABIP has to be ridiculously low. Three of the balls were put in play and were outs, I don’t know how they were put in play but if he keeps putting the bat to the ball the hits will start coming. He’s been horrifically unlucky.
