But then you can’t advertise that the Hyundai is the ultimate car, because on the macro level, anyone who buys a Hyundai is settling a little, just like I will be just a tad when I either get the Fiat 500 or Mini. I want an R8, but can’t.
Hyundai should have a “love the one you’re with” ad campaign, which would be both endearing and truthful. Nobody’s perfect car is a Sonata, so don’t bill it as such.

It's not my main sport that I play
But I do watch it, I was born and grew up about 500m from Highbury, Arsenal’s old ground in North London, so a lifelong gunners fan.

Due to no overwhelming reason
Manchester City, mainly because I’m a huge Joy Division Fan and that was Ian’s club. Fortunately I became a fan immediately before the Oil Barons took over, so at least I can support a functional club.
I have a friend here who’s a big Arsenal fan, he’s a good guy. And I finished up Fever Pitch recently, so I have some knowledge of the club.

I was absolutely gutted that Man City lost out to Tottenham for the last Champions League place; firstly because as an Arsenal fan I hate them akin to the MFY, and secondly because I had a bet with my friend that MC would finish 4th. Damn it.

And to make matters worse, I left watching the tott/city game early so I could drive 2 hours to watch the Revolution, our quite-not-good local team get murdered by Chivas 4-0. not cool.

Where I am at uni at the moment, in Stirling, they had the local derby match between Stirling United and Alloa United last weekend, watched by about 300 of the most fanatical fans you will ever seen, on one of the worst pitches in the world and involving….well, I don’t want to comment on the skill level :P

Folks who can support the lower leagues fanatically
blow my mind. It’s one thing to go nuts over a big-4 club, but to go nuts over a tiny local club, that’s dedication.

Completely agree.
I mean, Arsenal was my ‘local’ club until the age of 15, so I haven’t really had the experience of supporting a tiny club like that. Guys in the stands at Stirling who have supported the same tiny club since the world was in black and white are fantastic.

I graduated
But the school tried to kill me. Sometimes metaphorically, sometimes literally, but I’m tremendously happy I’ll never have to go back again.
Occasionally I still have terror nightmares that I didn’t finish my coursework and have to go back for another year. Never Again.
