Call me crazy.

But I think Lars Anderson is going to get my vote for Red Sox minor league player of the year. He has a shot at the majors this season, and honestly, I’d rather see him than Ortiz as a DH. Keep it up Lars.

I know it's only one month

But I got a REALLY strong vibe about him. Just like I have a weak vibe from Kalish this year. Next year I have him breaking out.

Kalish needs a Youk-Fu.

Or something Trot-esque. I think that’s all that’s really holding him back from making the jump to the next level. With some killer facial hair, he’s a lock for Fenway. . . .

I said KILLER.

Not “lame nineteenth-century presidential.”

OK. It’s cool—but not quite what I was thinking of. I had the 2004 Dirt Dogs more in mind: think Millar, Mueller, Nixon, etc.
