Minor Lines 5/25/10: No Offense
Pawtucket L 5-8
Daniel Nava: 2-5, 2B, K
Lars Anderson: 1-4, HR, K
Aaron Bates: 1-4, K
Josh Reddick: 1-2, 2 BB
-What? Huh?
Jorge Jimenez: 0-3, BB, E
Michael Bowden: 4.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 1 HR
Robert Manuel: 1.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 1 K
-With him being probably one of the most deserving PawSox pen members, on the "list" he goes.
Still no Kalish.
Portland L 0-6
Yamaico Navarro: 0-4
Luis Exposito: 0-3
Anthony Rizzo: 1-3, 2 K
Jose Iglesias: 0-3
Kyle Weiland: 4.2 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 6 K, 1 HR
Salem L 2-3
Pete Hissey: 1-4, K
Oscar Tejeda: 1-5, 2 K
Will Middlebrooks: 0-4, 2 K
-8 strikeouts, 0 XBH in the last 5 games. But he's earned a ton of leeway so far this year.
Ryan Lavarnway: 0-4
Tim Federowicz: 0-2, 2 BB
Ryan Dent: 1-2
Caleb Clay: 6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K
-If nothing else, Clay's non-existent walk rate and low-90s fastball should make him a good reliever.
Greenville W 1-0
Another walkoff thanks to some good wheels. Derrik Gibson steals 2nd, goes to 3rd on a wild pitch, and is singled in by Almanzar.
Reymond Fuentes: 0-4, 2 K
Derrik Gibson: 1-3, BB, SB
Chris McGuiness: 1-3, BB
Michael Almanzar: 1-4
Jeremy Hazelbaker: 1-3
Yeiper Castillo: 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K
-Walk rate has come down nicely of late.

On the season
Lars is now .294/.376/.551 with 8 HRs in 39 games. He’s also the youngest player on the PawSox.
Damned impressive. K’s still a little high, but he’s walking plenty.
