Scott Atchison Returns to the Majors

Scott Atchison, who made the team out of Spring Training, only to be sent down not long afterwards, is rejoining the big league club in lieu of ss Angel Sanchez, according to Amalie Benjamin's Twitter. Hopefully he'll have some more success this time than he did in his brief appearance at the beginning of the season.

Not completely.

If we used him, we could be up by 7 runs :-)
But in a tight game I agree, he and RamRam would be the last two calls out of the bullpen.

Yea, I REALLY like Richardson and Doubront

but best we let them get a bit more seasoned….wouldnt wanna bring them up too early i guess.

yeah exactly

and I’m not sure that I really want Doubront in the pen at this point, at least until the end of the year. He’s looking like he can be a pretty effective starter, so I’d rather see him keep developing his pitches for that at the AAA level. Richardson I think will make big contributions to the team this year, but needs a bit more to work on his control.
