The 5 Ks from
Dustin Richardson made me smile. Has this been going on for a little while, or is this merely an abberation? (Translation- is it realistic to hope he can put Schoenweis out of a job soon?)
He's still walking a lot of people
He needs to work on that aspect of his game!
Westmoreland recently asked his son how he was feeling, and the response the father received didn't surprise him. "I'm going to be in Portland next year," Ryan said.
Here's the numbers:
He walked 15 batters in 21 innings: That’s WAY too much!

Question
When the major league players are rehabbing in the minors, do they ever travel with the team? Specifically, do I have a chance in hell of Ellsbury traveling down to Durham with the PawSox this weekend?
probaly not

I like Richardson, I would not find having him up over Delcarmen or Rameriz or Schoenewies

he'll be up, but no sense in rushing him
better to have him trying to improve his control in a lower pressure situation.
Manuel and Nelson, however, I’d like to see get a shot.
He can be worse than him on almost any night.

I'm willing to bet the lot that Bill Hall doesnt cough up two routine ground balls and render 3 unearned runs because of them.

Well yeah, it's pretty hard to cough up balls when you never get to them.

If we're talking range
Alex Gonzalez should still be our shortstop, because he can get to way more balls than Scutaro
exactly
I have no issue with Scutaro

Actually
Scutaro is 4th in the MLB by DRS, and 6th by UZR. He’s been a fantastic fielder so far. A-Gon’s range wasn’t even that impressive last year, though he’s definitely very good at making the standard play.

We could always try to ask Toronto for a trade...
because the third time’s the charm?
