A 3B for a 3B? Nice.
Don’t see a lot of those. According to SoxProspects, pitch recognition was a problem. Looks like it’s improving a bit. . . .

Definitely
Will Middlebrooks is, to this point, unquestionably the breakout player of the year for the Sox. Last year he was mediocre in A-ball. This year, having advanced to the next level despite only questionably earning it, he’s looking like a top-level prospect with, admittedly, some good luck on balls in play, but with every aspect of his game noticeably advancing basically by the week.

Before the season I did a write up where I asked the question
Why do people have Renfroe higher than Middlebrooks? Renfroe was moving to 3B and Middlebrooks has a bunch of plus tools. I’ve never given up on Will. He was very, very young.

Yeah I’ll take Middlebrooks over Renfroe any day of the week
