Dustin Pedroia hits bombs and you must just accept it.
Pedroia hit a two-run home run with one out in the 7th to tie the game, 7-7. Kevin Youkilis followed two batters later with a wall-scraping double, advanced to third on a passed ball and scored the same way to give the Red Sox their first lead, 8-7.
Daniel Bard is coming into the ballgame to pitch the 8th.

I remember because the Indianapolis Indians being Cleveland’s AAA would make too much sense. (Plus, I know that the Indians are affiliated with the Columbus Clippers)

ofc small sample but i really think he cant regress much from last year with his changed approach
grinding out the at bats, getting on base on a .360+ clip while playing at least average defense at ss is huge for us

The one thing that made me sad
Was seeing ryan westmoreland. He looked far from ok and i dont know how they expect him to recover
Yeah i know but
This is brain surgery. Watching him reminded me of kevin everet (the guy who got paralyzed for the buffalo bills) he could move but his movements were choppy and slow
Guys take a while to get back to normal. This is kind of expected early on.
Don’t worry about it more than you would’ve yesterday, basically.

I had jaw surgery
A week before Westmoreland, and even I don’t feel comfortable going to Fenway yet. He had brain surgery a week after mine, and is there.
While it was very sad to see how dazed he seemed, it’s still very early. I can’t imagine what something like that, especially in the brain stem, must do to immediate movement.
