Not a Sunday, why wasn’t the mail man delivering?
"We are not normal, We are Legends. People will tell their kids about us." - Deon Butler before Ohio State Game 2008.
The Dice Man is stretched out. Time to roll the Dice.
Will it be in six days on Buchholz’s start day in Toronto?
Does Atchison get sent down to Pawtucket to make room on the 25 man?
And Rizzo with another double and a SB. He’s fast for a first baseman but he really isn’t fast fast.
" Play Ball "
If he were fast fast, he wouldn't be a 1B.
1B is for the mashers who are decent with the glove and not so fleet of foot.
A good bat and glove with decent speed makes for a rather nice 1B.
Fenway: "An alternate and better universe, disguised as a ballpark." --Thomas Boswell
Bates is off to a great start

Not sure, but if they take Clay out of the rotation I'm going to go ballistic.
He’s clearly a better option than Wake. DL Wake or put him in the pen.
You sit Ortiz, you give VMart a breather… There is absolutely no excuse for copping out here and taking the better pitcher out of the rotation.

I predict the 27th
They can pretty easily arrange it that way to make sure that Beckett and Lackey are going against the Yanks. I think Wake will get another turn in there before they take him out of the rotation, but ultimately, he’ll be the one to go.
I expect he'll take Clay's start
And then Clay will take Wake’s.

And Atchison goes down, with his one option year remaining, to make room on the roster.
" Play Ball "
Rameriz is out of options.

plus if someone wanted to take him and his $1 million or whatever
not a giant problem. I like Atchison better and he’s cheaper.
no one else really could
I mean Bard has options but no way he’s going down. Unless they just released someone, which seems unlikely
