Jacoby Ellsbury To Disabled List, Too?
The Red Sox lost one outfielder today in Mike Cameron and now they might lose another:
Darnell McDonald is in the #redsox clubhouse, up from Triple-A. Presumably, roster move with Ellsbury is coming
Yeah, this is what we need. Darnell McDonald. Yeeaaaah.

Makes sense
You can only retroactively DL a player by 10 days, so they’d start pushing back the date they could bring him back by if they waited any longer. It’s effectively a 5-day DL trip now.

Note that he was taking BP earlier, per Scott Lauber's twitter.

I understand why they didn't DL both guys immediately...
With all the tough opponents recently, Im sure they were holding out hope for a quick recovery….
…Still, we really could have used a guy like Reddick this last week.

Because they're aren't going to call him up to sit on the bench
That’s not how you develop young players.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Especially with Reddick already up.

What I would like to see tonight
is three, maybe four, players all collide and have them ALL injured.
I don’t get to see any PawSox games…this might be a good way to see one.

I have a five-tool player in my pants.
ACTUALLY, advanced metrics show that that wasn't "premature".

How bout that
2 run shot by Darnell for your PawSox highlight?
Whoever said it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, probably lost.

Darnell wins the game almost single-handed.
If I was your math homework I'd be really hard and you'd be doing me on your desk.

Darnell was just what we needed!
