Community Projections 2010: Jacoby Ellsbury

Same player, new position.

How will left field effect Ellsbury offensively and on the basepaths? Many think the move to left will save Ellsbury's legs, allowing him to steal as many bases (or more) in 2010. In terms of progression, has Ellsbury hit his peak or is there more to come from the speedster? Will his on-base ability improve?

Predict for Mr. Ellsbury. And, since he did lead the AL in steals last year with 70, we'll put a steals category in there for him, too. Copy the form, paste it into the comments and let us know what you think:

Bonus CS: 15 (SB without CS doesn’t mean as much)

I see Jacoby with a little more power, a little less average, and a little too carried away with his 70 SB in ’09 to be quite as effective on the base paths.
