Red Sox Rotation Announced, Beckett To Start Opening Night
The Red Sox have finalized their rotation.
Josh Beckett will be the Opening Night starter. Following him for the next five games are Jon Lester, John Lackey, Tim Wakefield, Beckett again and then Clay Buchholz.
Daisuke Matsuzaka is the odd man out. Dice-K will most likely start the season on the disabled list.

Peter Abraham just says Beckett, Lester, Lackey, Beckett, Buchholz
But that doesn’t seem right. I’m guessing it was a typo. Or is that called a mis-twit? I don’t know.
I think it was a mis-tweet

Right
so the twit mis-tweeted? or mis-twote? I’m not really confused, I’m just having fun with the stupid name of twitter.

I have a five-tool player in my pants.
ACTUALLY, advanced metrics show that that wasn't "premature".

yeah this rotation makes a lot of sense
Then they’re lined up to have Beckett, Lester, Lackey when Tampa comes to town and everyone not on the DL gets a start.
Sorry for the spam, guys
It’s been horrid lately

I especially like the Wakefield -> Beckett transition in the rotation.
Batters will have fits, especially if the knuckleball is fluttering.
And there should be a rule that, if relievers are needed, Bard must appear in any game that Wakefield starts. I really want to see batters tied up in knots catching up to Bard’s triple-digit heaters after three at-bats against Wakey’s 60 mph knucklers.
