Prospecting and second-guessing - Chad Finn's Touching All The Bases

CREEEEEEEEEEPY....
Well, now.
This hidden little gem is sure to cause nightmares.
Galactus does as he pleases. Because Galactus is drunk.
I have a five-tool player in my pants.
It is interesting
That until Ellsbury the Sox did not develop a major league ready outfielder until way back to Ellis Burks. Now its an organizational strength (Westmoreland, Kalish, Reddick, Fuentes)
Trot Nixon?

worst trade by the sox in my life time.
It actually looked good at the time
but in hindsight you are correct. Andersen pitched very well for the 1990 Sox posting a 1.23 ERA in 15 games although he kinda stuck in the ALCS. Bagwell was a decent prospect that had shown no power up until the trade (8 HR in over 900 ABs) and was a pretty bad defender at 3B. That was kinda one of those trdes you get burned on every once in a while
Also, we should have had another year of Anderson
but he was granted free agency by the courts in the collusion lawsuit.
Great read.
Thanks for the link, brought back lots of memories.
It’s crazy how many of these “can’t miss” guys fizzle out. And how the somewhat under the radar guys turn into Roy Halladay and David Ortiz.
Manny ain't the only bad man.
