Over the Monster Top 20 Prospects Voting #14: Derrik Gibson, Come on Down!
I would say that Derrik Gibson is this ranking season's breakout, as it were. Even at the end of the season, Gibson was something of a hidden commodity, and looked ready to go into 2010 as a good sleeper or breakout pick. And yet, come the yearly rankings, and Gibson is breaking top-10s. He didn't quite make it there for us, but he's in at a nice respectable 13.
On to 14. Prospect write-ups can be found here. Vote away.

David Renfroe
I really like this guy. Does everything well. Isn’t going to steal alot of bases but who cares. Hits to both field with power and can field. He was a pitcher in high school too so you know he has a good arm.
What isn’t to like??
I don’t like that we haven’t seen him play pro ball yet.

That was my bad.
I thought I did, but I guess I didn’t. I did now though. I know he hasn’t played pro ball yet but I like him better then Fuentes.
To me it is between those two for the next two spots. Maybe Wagner too
Those top 12 or so were pretty clear (Expo should have been lower), but now it’s just a guessing game. The choice is basically between guys we know little about (Renfroe, Fuentes) and guys we have seen enough of to know they have limited potential (Doubrant, Richardson, Wagner). I’m going with the unknown: Fuentes.

I also went with Fuentes
Figure 14 is about right for our latest 1st round pick.

Same here. Fuentes has the potential that most teams would dream of at #14
lil’ Beltran maybe?

I'm going with Fife
I love sinker ballers who strike a batter per inning and don’t give free passes.
