Both Buster Olney of ESPN and Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News have tweeted Martin is leaning towards Boston.  Mark Feinsand tweets "Source says that although Russell Martin has offers from three AL East teams (NYY, BOS, TOR), the Red Sox appear to be his top choice." 

What team had the greatest off-season in baseball history (other than the 1920 New York Yankees).  I really can't remember any team having as good of one as Boston if these tweets are true.
