Agent: Cameron's Rehab is Right on Schedule
According to Gordon Edes of ESPN Boston, Cam's agent says his rehab puts him on track to start baseball-related activities a little after the Thanksgiving holiday. Still, the question remains: platoon option or bench player (4th OF in either case) or a trade chip?

Well, then.
I, for one, would like to see him have a chance to earn it.

Cam in against lefties
Drew in against righties makes sense to me. If we sign Werth or Crawford of course.

Speaking of Little Mac
He’s gone via FA or is he still with the Red Sox? Last I read he was still part of the team.

McLovin in still on the 40 man roster and in Sox control.
The problem will raise it’s head in the spring since he has no option years left and will need to be on the 25 man roster or pass through waivers. He’ll be paid the league minimum by the Sox and has not reached his arbitration years yet.
He will not make it through waivers without having a team claim him after his success in ‘10. So if he’s not our 4th outfielder, he will be gone.
If it comes done to him or Kalish on opening day, Kalish goes to Pawtucket to get as many AB as possible and Darnell plays for the minimum.
I don't think that either way Kalish comes up as a 4th or 5th outfielder
no sense in burning up his service time to have him sit on the bench when he can be playing everyday in pawtucket and not using up his time under team control.

If Cameron returns to baseball activites
by Thanksgiving, he’ll be out for the season by xmas, at which point we can sign Crawford or Werth. Makes sense to me.
yes, because clearly he is currently a walking sports hernia.
he has been so very fragile over the course of his career.
