Hey Ump, here's a hint:

When the ball forces the catcher to stand up to catch it, it ain’t a strike.

Drew should hit leadoff.

Move Ells to 8th. If he gets on, he can steal, and the 9th hitter can bunt him to 3rd.

He's just trying to get to the bag by cutting down the distance.

Doesn’t have the long legs to do that by sprinting – and he’d run into a wall if it allowed him to catch the ball.

Unless they can show that the dog was shot like ten times or something (excessive force), it’s going to be hard to prove anything.

Imagine King Felix in Boston

Seattle is struggling to sign him to an extension, and they are talking about trading him over the off season. The Sox have expressed interest. We’d have to give up Buch and Bowden and a few more prospects. Imagine that rotation. Beckett, Lester, King Felix, Dice-k, and whoever you want to throw in the 5 spot.

by LesterJohn on Sep 6, 2009 4:11 PM EDT reply actions

And then Beck leaves after next season...

And we have to let Dice-K leave the next season after that so that we can resign Felix.
