This is it. Rubber match. This determines something something something something. Oh yeah. A win and we can at least claim the season series over the Yanks. A loss and we're tied and they clinch the East tomorrow.

Magic number still at 3.

Been awhile since I've been around, been awhile since I've done one of these. My apologies for that. Work has been a something.

Let's be honest. A win would be nice but I kinda would just like Paul Byrd to look like a big-league pitcher.

Hope everyone is rooting for the Tigers next week.

Twins have no chance VS the MFY. The Tigers pitching however, could make some noise.

It's only a rubber match

when the two teams are going into the final game tied up. If the Sox would have won yesterday, today would be the rubber match. We can only hope to not get swept.

That is all.

Pudge can still throw; 35% this year. So can Barajas: also 35%. But Barajas starts for the Jays and will probably want to start. Schneider also throws well: 34%.

yes i saw the replay

im going with the shot that showed the catch and the runner leaving not the picture in picture replay. and by that one he left too soon. there is too much possibility for problems syncing up the picture in picture replay to call it reliable

That may be the dumbest thing you've ever said

You want to criticize the umps, that’s fine. They blow a lot of calls. They don’t favor any one team.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

by Drugs Delaney on Sep 27, 2009 3:44 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

The Yankees don't need the umps to help them out

They’ve got Watson in their corner.

Anyway, Ive often heard about Reggie Jackson sticking out his hip to obstruct Garvey yet no call of interference . Yankee bias in taught in umpiring school.

Or maybe let’s be rational & realize umps miss calls.
