Zach Greinke is good
But has not faced hot Sox bats.
Result is unknown.

Even if he had

Would we really be able
To predict results?

/probably screwed up

If KC can't fill the stadium when this guy pitches

They should move the team.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

by Drugs Delaney on Sep 22, 2009 8:12 PM EDT reply actions

When Greinke is on the mound there's a chance something special will happen

In his prime, Pedro starts were can’t miss events.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

by Drugs Delaney on Sep 22, 2009 8:16 PM EDT up reply actions

Of course.

But it’s still a weeknight, during football season, and the rest of team pretty much sucks.

by bdalebs on Sep 22, 2009 8:18 PM EDT up reply actions

Then, they should move the team

Because the KC fans aren’t good baseball fans.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

by Drugs Delaney on Sep 22, 2009 8:19 PM EDT up reply actions

They should rebuild the team.

Fire/release everyone except for a few players and coaches.

Of course, that means extend Dayton Moore. :/

Dusty with some opposite field power

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

According to Amica

2 of those fourr balls were strikes. I blame Rev Halofan. It’s a conspiracy!

OPS is cool for me

easy and evreybody gets it!

The biggest problem with OPS...

is that it gives SLG and OBP the same value, when it’s not really that way in the game. Second biggest are the values it assigns to each event.

Hey Boston,

I’m real proud of you, and Imma let you finish, but Yesterday’s was one of the Worst Games of ALL TIME!!!!

Geez, Greinke is getting a huge zone

Not that it really matters.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

At this point

I rather throw the game just so he has one more win so he can get the Cy. He deserves it and I really doubt he will win it.

He plays on KC.

And his wins are only what.. 14 or 15? The voters tend to look at all the pointless stats. Petey last year was the exception IMO

No! NO!!!!

I will not sacrifice home plate… They allow replay for homerun disputes, and we fall back. They replay entire calls, and we fall back. Not again! The Line MUST BE DRAWN HERE!!!

by Drugs Delaney on Sep 22, 2009 10:38 PM EDT reply actions

Maybe there's a pattern we're not seeing.

Non-conspiracy: different height zones messing with ump
Conspiracy: ump’s fixing the game to help out certain players

He has been extremely inconsistent

Byrd really got squeezed, as did Wright.

so many strikeouts..

I don't know about EVERY game.

But yeah, we have a lot of aggressive batters (Drew = passive-aggressive, I guess).

by bdalebs on Sep 22, 2009 10:43 PM EDT up reply actions

we have a patient lineup

This is what good teams are! So yeah some times guys got behind in the counts and get k’d…I’ll take that over a team of free swingers!
