Sigh. They lost to MTSU again.

I’m not too suprised that TENN held tough, but what’s with WASH? Weren’t they really bad last year? I guess they must have had some younger players who wre expected to be better. Not complaining, though- it’s not like I’m a USC fan.

Maybe. Neither team needs this game particularly much.

Reached .350 on the 9th

Stagnant till the double header when it dropped just below, and then right back up. .352 for the last few games.

When we drafted him, that was a major step forward on the path from being a power-reliant team to being able to play some smallball.

I agree that the move towards speed is a good thing.

I just disagree that it’s small ball for Jacoby to turn his singles into doubles with regularity when we tend not to bunt him around and try to sac fly. We’re almost always playing for the big inning.

He’s back out to start the inning. The Sox are going to a 6-man rotation (at least this week w/ Wake starting Monday), so the starters will get more rest. Lester usually routinely goes 110+.
