The Final Minor Lines -- Sox Farm Teams Come Up Short
Well, that'll do it folks. For the last 150-or-so days, I've been doing my best to keep to a semi-punctual schedule, but I figured having gotten behind about a week or so I'd let the series play themselves out. Too bad they had to play out this way--Lowell lost in the semis and Salem and Greenville put up little opposition in their respective championship matches. But still, it's been an interesting year in the minor with plenty of good (Kelly, Westmoreland, Tazawa, and of course Clay Buchholz) and plenty of bad (Oh Lars, why? Why?), but definitely interesting.
So, without further ado, I present you the rather disappointing and anti-climactic final minor lines of the 2009 season.

Well, yes
I have always wanted to try my hand in Arena Football.
In all seriousness, though, that’s probably more a matter of long-term updates given limited playing time players tend to receive down there. I’ll keep y’all informed, though, to the best of my abilities.

I'll keep it moving along.
Prospect reviews will continue. There’s ye olde top-X list that needs recompiling. Always something to be done.

Hey, we do community polls for that stuff.

Yes, but I've been given control of said polls, apparently.
A preview of the first one:
Who’s the Red Sox’ #1 prospect?
1. Casey Kelly
2. Casey Kelly
3. Casey Kelly
4. Clay Buchholz is still a prospect to me! But if I can’t choose him, then Casey Kelly.

Why wasn't this brought out when the Halos were complaining about the umps?

Because they had a legitimate complaint and I wasn't in my tyrannical dictator mode.

Yes, but it would have gone SOOOOO well with the Pitch F/X strike zone.
