Despite what we might think . . .
Drew apparently has a very wry sense of humor. I remember seeing him being “interviewed” by Baldelli—-his comments regarding AL pitchers hitting in NL parks was quite entertaining.
Just like everything else, though, it’s understated, and doesn’t necessarily show up in talking to the media—-unless the “media” happens to be one of his teammates.
