GT: Red Sox @ Yankees - Aug. 9

Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees, Aug 9, 2009 8:05 PM EDT

It's do or die time.

I have a good feeling about tonight, though. I've been wearing my No. 7 Trot Nixon shirt all day and I think it's going to work. If the spirit of Trot can't do it, what can?

The Sox look to score a run tonight -- they haven't done that in awhile. Jon Lester will be on the hill to face the Yanks' Andy Pettitte.

Let’s hope Tito put some fire under their asses and we score some runs tonight. I’d be happy with at least 6. Maybe a Lester no-hittter tonight? ish optimistic

Tazawa seems a bit too comfortable throwing in places he shouldn't.

Needs to get that worked out of him by better hitters. Then he’ll be fine.

The good thing about Tazawa

is he goes right after hitters. He’s not the second coming of DiceK
