Papi's back, fools. Too bad our other nicknamed cult hero isn't as media friendly.

There’s Been No Shortage of Baseball Oddities This Year - WSJ.com
This season has been full of some of baseball's rarest feats, including a perfect game, an immaculate inning, and an unassisted triple-play. But what HAVEN'T we seen?
Feel free to suggest baseball oddities you'd like to see in the comments - preferably with a link if it's happened before. Other links are cool too.

I agree with Youk
On the media in general, not just in sports. I can’t stand reporters who go out, say, after somebody gets killed, and they go and do a story on it and ask relatives how they feel. Leave them alone. Just makes me want to punch them in the face.
The media loves to find things they can blow out of proportion.
I know it's early, but it's never too early for a little optimism and hope. All I know is that Soxtober is the best month of the year.
This.
The media has become the story way too often lately.

Best Red Sox (kinda) Oddity
Pedro (while with the Expos) threw 9 perfect innings, but the Expos didn’t score so it went into extras where he gave up a hit and got pulled. If you look at the bottom of this baseball almanac page, it says that the 9+ innings of perfect games thrown by Pedro and Harvey Haddix were once recognized as perfect games by MLB, however in 1991, MLB changed the rules and took away Pedro’s perfect game.
