Minor Lines 8/21-23: Chowdah?!?
For those who haven't already heard, USG couldn't access the internet over the weekend. I saw this as my chance to attempt to do the Minor Lines, something I'd wanted to try. I admit that I'm not an expert on the minors, but I'll do my best.

Was at yesterday's Spinners game.
Shouted “Go Manifest Destiny!” when Westmoreland doubled. My girlfriend did not like the nickname.

I return!
Thank you very much to Chowdah for taking over in my absence. Now excuse me while I try and get caught up myself.
Seems I missed some meh games from the farm hands.
Oh well. We’ll always have Westmoreland.

I like the inclusion of the GIDP stat...
…since it seems that the Sox value that skill highly when selecting their players ( *sarcasm directed at Sox *)

It occured to me that it would probably be easier to read
if I blockquoted each game. But I can’t edit it right this second, as I have a piano lesson to go to.
Fear the Rebel Polar Bears (trust me, this sig makes sense)
I was actually going to ask USG if he could start doing that.
Breaks it all up a little better than bold titles do.

Fair enough, if I can manage it.
Block quotes are very annoying in their tendency to want to merge with everything above and below them, especially with other block quotes.

Yeah, I had some issues when I tried to break it up into blockquotes
Fear the Rebel Polar Bears (trust me, this sig makes sense)
I learned a lot about the minors while doing this
For example, Boss Moanaroa is from Australia, Jason Place is from the same town as Pedroia, and Brian Anderson’s middle name is Nikola.

I thought
…that Boss was a Samoan. But yeah, he probably went to school in Australia…
