Eight different players reached double figures in hits for the Red Sox, although no one was as productive as Martinez.

Apparently, it was a much bigger offensive explosion than we thought, though I have to say I'm disappointed the Sox were only able to score 18 runs on their 80+ hits.

Am I the only person who think there is a conflict between Tek and Buch? Buch shakes him off too much I think. Buch’s last 2 starts were non Tek starts, makes me wonder.

Sox need another lefty in the pen, not named Lopez
Sox need a utility guy prefer one with speed
Sign Matt Holliday in 2010

Could also explain why the Sox went after VMart – need someone to catch him (and possibly Wake) with minimal drop in offensive production.

it sure as hell can’t help Buch’s development to be at odds with Tek. Perhaps his struggles would not be what they are.
