Yeah, that kinda seems like it was thrown in to calm down the Sox fans that were going to go apeshit...
when they created a list that had a load of consecutive Sox players at the beginning.

For the record:
They = geniuses who created a FRAUD list.
OverTheMonster - ALLERGEN WARNING: May contain peanut butter.
Absurd.
There is no way that is the list. It is basically a list of all the best players in the league. There would definitely be some randoms mixed in.

-Tug McGraw
Yeah, it's been pretty much assumed that this is a fake.

I haven't read the whole list
but I hope that he isn’t on it. As much as we hate him, I don’t know any reason to think he is a bad person. Also, this
ZING! ZANG! ZUNG!
Note: the linked list is UNCONFIRMED and RUMORED.
In other words, it is almost certainly fake. I am strongly tempted to delete this entire thread just so it doesn’t appear to that OTM is legitimizing the list. Allegations of steroids use can hurt someone’s career and public image, and possibly open the accuser to litigation for slander. Let’s not mess around with this stuff.
If MLB’s records of confirmed steroid test failures haven’t gotten leaked to some journalist by now, we can probably expect that such records have been destroyed. It would be a huge disaster for the sport if a large percentage (any more than 20%) of players were found to have been juicing.
"It's just a tiny little nick, but it hurts when I get champagne in there."
- Jason Bay, on getting spiked scoring the winning run in ALDS Game Four.
OTM is legitimizing the list?
i get attacked because of a link i posted?
come on…what is that all about?
i posted a link and everything else you can read there.
the words RUMOR and UNCONFIRMED come in the first 2 sentence over there.
i can not force people to think for themselves but i still expect a minimum of that from every breathing creature. if someone refuses too do that how can that be my fault?
no statement from me at all about this BS and i hope that this Boone reference was understood at least by the non-band-wagoners as a (bad?) joke.
ah..and that one:
“Allegations of steroids use can hurt someone’s career and public image, and possibly open the accuser to litigation for slander.”
LOL
sry, i do not believe that.
but it is ok i understood the message… wont do it anymore.
