Amazing that the MLB hasn't come anywhere near the NFL for having a standard of judging prospects.

No combine, no web site with 90 ft dash times, lift results, etc. Would be really cool to have a list of prospects by speed, strength, etc.

He’s had double digits steals the past couple of years – not bad. He’s gonna bulk up to increase power though, so there goes that.

Then he later retracted his statement, saying he was weighing his options. Sounds like he’s got an overslot deal in place but it hasn’t been approved by the commish yet.

Jacobs is almost certainly coming here. Just a bit of a gaff to say so out loud. But I imagine he’ll be in a GCL or Lowell uniform by the end of the month.
