before the pitch, Rob Dibble says that maybe it’s time for a change-up, since Papi won’t be expecting it. Stammen throws the change-up, and Papi knocks it out. So Dibble talks about how Stammen did Papi a favor, since he was way behind the fastball.

Ortiz isn't a bad first basemen..
it is the position he played at while going up the minor and big leagues. His probably biggest deficit is his range, but he can field fine, unlike someone like Jason Giambi.
He's actually playing good defensively
I managed to watch the first half of the game. For someone who doesn’t field hardly ever, and who isn’t as quick as Youk, I’m satisfied.

Now they’ve got it up to 103. I guess when it said 74, they weren’t very serious.
Agree if it’s at 103, it’s more likely to see a reliever.
