the Xenomorph is immune to the acidity of its own blood. The blood would burn through the pit, on the other hand.

Marlins doing an email Q+A thing, latest question was about why MFY and Sox don't ever where NOB for jerseys.
Besides the fact that we do wear them on the road, it took the announcer a while to get around to “They’re good fans here and they know the players.” Funniest part is the guy who wrote in was talking about how it infuriated his wife – dude, explain it to your wife yourself, and be thankful she has any sort of interest in sports.

Has to be one of the most annoying broadcasts I’ve ever seen.
I’d say they have spent 80% of the game reading emails, 10% interviewing fans, and 5% talking about non-sense 5% focusing on the game.

If anybody was following the singles vs. homers debate in the DiceK thread, I just posted the table I was talking abouit.
Hence my silence for the past few innings.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

Oh.
Surprising, I’m not thinking about food right now – breaking the rules of being a teen.

Our bullpen is so unfair.
Why look, we’re up by multiple runs! But now you’ve kicked our starter out of the game, and have a chance to come back against:
- All Star Closer (Paps)
- All Star Closer (Saito)
- All Star Setup man (Oki)
- Future All Star Setup man (RamRam)
- Future NL Closer (MDC)
- Kid who throws 100mph (Bard)
- Former starter who’s now a longman (Masterson)
We’ve got elite relievers pitching garbage innings.
"It's just a tiny little nick, but it hurts when I get champagne in there."
- Jason Bay, on getting spiked scoring the winning run in ALDS Game Four.

I say bring Lowpez back
to put some fairness in this thing!

Sadly, I have no doubt that he could pull it off.

The 2009 version, yes.
The 2008 version was actually very good. But he’d still be the weak link in that bullpen.

Holy cow, that 1-1 pitch to Bay broke like crazy.
Looked like it was gonna go off camera, totally reversed right before it crossed through the zone.

Hanley got fooled by Bard.
15 MPH difference on the change = Hanley staring at the ball in front of him as he finished his back-swing.

Bard, closes it out.
Game, no penguins needed.

Yep.
Blowouts of mid-level teams don’t really inspire happy dances.
