All I can do is laugh at this. Good job, Whacky Lackey.

So Josh Beckett gets suspended for a pitch that didn’t hit anybody when the batter called time during his windup, and Lackey throws his first pitch behind a guy who hit 2 HRs the day before and nails him with the second pitch.
Who wants to bet that Lackey doesn’t get suspended?
I was thinking the same thing
If Lackey doesn’t get suspended (and I don’t think he will), MLB is a joke. The league suspends a pitcher who throws close to a hitter, doesn’t get tossed from the game, and the umpire states that he thought there was no intent. Lackey hit the batter after throwing behind him. He was tossed from the game, which shows that the ump thought it was intentional. C’mon, Watson. Do the right thing.
I wonder if it’s just that the Angels, and especially their manager, are a bunch of whiners who bombard the league office with complaints that opposing pitchers are throwing at them.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.
