Brad Wilkerson Retires
Brad Wilkerson, an eight-year veteran of the MLB, has officially retired from professional baseball.
Triple-A Pawtucket manager Ron Johnson told the newspaper that following the second game of the season, Wilkerson walked into his office and said he was done with baseball.
"Second game of the season, he came in afterwards and that was it," Johnson said. "He didn't have the fire anymore."
Wilkerson was only hitting .111 with 4 strikeouts after his first nine at-bats before retiring, but depth is depth.

A crappy player isn't depth
Wilkerson had no shot of playing for the Sox—and it’s doubtful he could help.
I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.

"retired" misspelled, btw.
The manager should’ve asked for all of Wilkerson’s paycheck back.
