Minor lines from 4/13
I had this new idea after seeing this for years at Mccovey Chronicles-so here goes!
AAA- RESULT-Pawtucket lost to Rochester 5-3
* Charlie Zink was wild, while walking 6 in just 4.1 innings. He have up 4 runs.
* Dusty Brown had the only extra base hit, and RBI double. While in the squat, he made a bad throw trying to trow out a runner.
* Pawtucket did outhit Rochester by a 10 to 7 margin
AA-RESULT-Portland beat New Britain 10-6
* This game involved horrible fielding by both teams. New Britain made a unworldly 5 errors. Portland made 2.
* Felix Doubront had the stuff (7 K), but couldn't get 5 innings through. Both hits he gave up resulted in runs. He went 4.1 innings
* Catcher Mark Wagner lifted the only Portland HR in the game
ADVANCED A RESULT-Salem lost to Potomac 8-6
*Seth Garrison did bad, while giving up 5 earned runs in 4 frames.
* Kyle Fernandes had a great long relief game. He tossed 3 scoreless innings, with 2 hits and 1 strikeout
* Catcher Sean Rooney had a key single that scored 3 runs
CLASS A RESULT-Greenville beat Hickory 5-4
* Despite a rough outing from starter Yeiper Castillo, Greenville won the game with a 9th inning 2 run comeback.
* Mitchell Harold pitched greatly, locking the game up with 2 hitless frames and 4 strikeouts.
* Center Fielder Peter Hissey, who is off to a great start this season, got 2 hits,1 a double, to help win the game.
Tomorrow I will post todays minor lines, just for a heads up.

I like this idea
I’d be willing to bet, though, that most OTMers will specifically be looking for news and lines about guys like Buchholz, Anderson, Bowden, and all the others we recently voted as our top prospects.
THAT'S the money you could be saving with Geico
On the topic of minor league Sox
Reddick has kept up his ST tear.
From the Globe.
Josh Reddick, a nonroster invitee to spring training, where he hit .500, has gone on a tear in Double A. The Portland outfielder hit a home run in each of his first four games, but went 0 for 4 in the Sea Dogs’ 4-3 loss to Binghamton last night. He also has three doubles, tying for the minor league lead in both extra-base hits and homers through Wednesday. Reddick, 22, is hitting .345 (10 for 29). “He has done a great job preparing every day and taking his mental approach to the plate pretty consistently,” director of player development Mike Hazen said. “It’s not just the results that are impressive, but watching his overall approach to each at-bat.”
I know it’s only been a week, but I may have underestimated this guy.
Manny ain't the only bad man.
It's not significant.
It’s one game. Every MLB player ever has had a hitless game.
Manny ain't the only bad man.
Okay, I give up.
The original comment was about how it just git thrown into the paragraph out of nowhere.
