Sox place Lowrie on DL

According to Boston.com, Jed Lowrie will be placed on the 15-day DL with a left wrist injury. Gil Velazquez was called up to take Lowrie's spot.
Lowrie's injury is worrisome, as it is his second wrist injury. Right now, there's no word on how serious the injury is. Let's all hope Nick Green can fill in well until Lowrie or Lugo are ready.
Let's hope Lowrie recovers soon ...

Our offensive fortunes don't depend on Lowrie.
They depend on Pedroia, Papi, Youk, Drew, Bay and Lowell.
Once those guys start hitting, everyone else is just gravy.
