Ehh. Man, if Schilling became a Ray, he'd absolutely kill us. I know he would. Let's hope Schill is done for good.

Why would the Rays want him?
They have a perfectly good Jeff Niemann for that sort of thing.
Now the Brewers, on the other hand—you know how Doug Melvin has a thing for ex-Sox (and ex-Rangers, and ex-Rays, and Canadians….) and Schilling was one of his prospects in the O’s org back in the day. I ph33r. Especially if Braden Looper keeps sneezing.
No No NO
You guys around here just do not understand the aging process. It is real, and it’s effects are mostly quite permanent. Schilling, along with Wakefield and Varitek and unfortunately Lowell as well, might have one or two occasional games left it them, but basically they are through FOREVER. The Sox really do need to learn about this aging factor and to plan/live in the present!
Classic Matchup
For Game 7 of the ALCS, the Rays turn to 42-year-old big game pitcher Curt Schilling. The Red Sox counter with their own 42-year-old legend, John Smoltz. 43-year-old Tim Wakefield is waiting in the Red Sox bullpen if Smoltz gets into trouble early.
