Julian Tavarez signs with Washington
“Why did I sign with the Nationals?” Tavarez told a group of reporters. “When you go to a club at 4 in the morning, and you’re just waiting, waiting, a 600-pounder looks like J. Lo. And to me this is Jennifer Lopez right here. It’s 4 in the morning. Too much to drink. So, Nationals: Jennifer Lopez to me.”
That's classic!

Seriously!
We’re not even out of spring training and this has to be a candidate for Quote of the Year.
"You know you're having a bad day when the fifth inning rolls around and they drag the warning track." - Mike Flanagan, Baltimore Orioles pitcher, 1992.

Ahahahahahahahahaha.
Freddy Krueger comes up with the best quote I’ve seen this month.
Adopted Giant: Clayton Tanner (unless someone tells me he's already been adopted)
"He [Sandoval] is a big, puffy crouton in our wilted salad of a lineup. Do No matter how bad a movie is a eight game sweep is wacky in baseball, so a one run loss in the series is not the end of the world. disparage the comedian." -sfgiantstoday

My God
That has to be one the funniest sports quotes I’ve ever seen. And the funniest part, I bet the Nationals fans can’t even disagree
And that the Washington Nationals
are analogous to a 600 lb woman in terms of desirability.

Sadly
Jennifer Lopez.
"It's just a tiny little nick, but it hurts when I get champagne in there."
- Jason Bay, on getting spiked scoring the winning run in ALDS Game Four.

Shouldn’t that be, “$10 says that he doesn’t make the Opening Day roster…”?

If memory serves.

Farewell, JT
Two things I’ll remember Julian for, his utter hittable-ness in the 2004 World Series (as a member of the Cards) and his bang-up job as the fifth starter in 2007. He really surprised me and was a big factor in the Division title.
