US Soccer - The Yanks Are Coming
I love Pedro, he's just not the guy that should be starting game 6 of the World Series at this point in his career.
MFY win it tonight.

But There's Still Time!
What game of the ALCS last year did BOS put up a crooked number against Tampa Bay in the 8th?
I’m too young to be that cynical!

K 2 and a lineout.
Settle in, Pedro!
Philly needs to put up some run support. This all seems familiar somehow.

here is the 2008 alcs in a nutshell
game 1: great
game 2: Beckett hurt and costs us, Every Red Sox fan knew when Timlin came in it was over
game 3: shit
game 4: shit
game 5: Coco under appreciated
game 6: Varitek’s last great moment in a Red Sox uniform
game 7: offense gives us a glimpse of what is coming in 2009 (well the whole 2008 ALCS)
The # 1 reason we did not go to the world series in 2008?
Mark Kotsay leaving 15+ runners on in the ALCS. He is responsible. Anyone who argues is full of shit.

Probably
I seem to remember Kotsay have a number of good defensive plays though.

One Back!
Not a dual no-hitter, but still exciting nonetheless.
Quick check-in.
:(
Both because of the game, and because I now have a computer curfew.

What is on Joba's cap?
High definition is not a friend to Joba. It doesn’t look like resin, it looks kind of sticky, or sweat and salt.
It reminds me of road salt.
Although I usually get it on the bottom of my pant legs and shoes, not on my @#$%ing head.
Goddamn that DeMarlo Hale.
