Papi wants to stay with the Sox long term, it seems, but I can't imagine the Sox investing much if anything in him past next year, even if he does have a resurgent year.

Does that mean we were wrong in our analysis calling for him to be off the team this offseason? When dealing with predictions and analysis, you work with realities and probabilities, not hyperboles and ideals.
