He’s definitely showing that “flashy defender who wants you to be aware that he is a flashy defender”.

Strikeouts are boring- Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

Confidence

He is being flashy because he is very confident in his fielding skills. That is a huge positive…hes at a big game and hes not worried about fielding the ball, its coming second nature to him.

hes spinning and double clutching in warm-ups thats not a real game situation…just shows hes comfortable

I don't like a showoff.

The most impressive thing a player can do, to me, is play great, clean, technically-sound ball while making everything look effortless.

ok well watch him in a game….he does exactly what you said. Doing that in warmups means he is staying loose, and is not nervous….its a good thing, not arrogance
