The one you've all been waiting for..

...but is there much of a surprise?

Here's one hint to the results: BS.UF is going to be freaking out when he sees one name on this list. And no, his name is not Jed Lowrie.

10 Players is a lot to think of...

Luckily there are 40 Red Sox on the roster!

Just kidding, I didn’t run the table with Red Sox. IIRC, my ballot went Mauer, Bay, Morales, and then a bunch of other players, including Tex and Greinke.

Do you guys know who voted for Alex Gonzalez?

I wonder if Bud Selig will give the Yankees a receipt with their World Series purchase

Somebody who likes underdogs and guys who play the game the right way.

Strikeouts are boring- Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

I’m more shocked by a 6th place vote for JD Drew

Wrong.

I’m going to freak instead that Greinke didn’t win. Seriously, there is no reason to say he wasn’t the most VALUABLE player.

Nope.

Greinke managed to be worth his entire contract in less than one season. If it has to be a position player*, then Mauer.

*: Starting pitchers are probably involved with more plays in one start than most position players (aside from catchers) are in the same five game stretch – just in case anyone was going to argue that his WAR doesn’t mean as much because he’s only in 1/5 of the games.

The capitals change everything…

I'm saying, look at the value stats.

Greinke dominated WAR.
