Another cool, crisp October day means more playoff baseball. Here's what's on tap this afternoon before the Red Sox and Angels kick of their series at 9:37 p.m. EST:

Colorado @ Philadelphia - 2:37 p.m. EST
PHI leads series, 1-0
COL A. Cook vs. PHI C. Hamels

St. Louis @ Los Angeles - 6:07 p.m. EST
LAD leads series, 1-0
STL A. Wainwright vs. LAD C. Kershaw

Note: just a reminder, there will be a gamethread for the Red Sox-Angels series. This thread is just for COL/PHI and STL/LAD.

Sox pitching looking good here?

Gotta think Lester and Beckett a big 1-2 punch here.

If Beckett can pitch like he's known for in the playoffs, we'll be in pretty good shape

Also- Angels (West), Twins (Central), Yankees (East), Sox (WC). Sound familar? :)

Remember good ol' E-6?

Did anyone else see that play Lugo just made from the second base position? Where was THAT guy in Boston the last two years?
