I got banned from Halos Heaven

for this:

Are you guys aware

that the yankees won 10-1?? no amount of bad calls makes up for CC Sabathia dominating your lineup. and the bad calls went against both teams. it is so annoying to come on here after every game you lose and you blame it on umpiring. i cant believe i’m defending the yankees.

Star-divide

and this, which i think really did it:

i'm speaking more to rev halofan

every time you lose, he brings up the umpiring. even today, in a blowout. its just not interesting or close to being based in reality.

i am kind of defending the yanks, in that i’m saying that they won fair and square, and not due to the blown calls. all the umpiring gaffes did was make me laugh, they didnt affect the outcome.

haha, its obvious he wasnt spitting (another crazy thing rev has said) i was saying yes as a joke, as i think most people who said yes were.

i mean, i was actually trying to be fair. i just have a bit of a seething hatred for the angels lately which has only been perpetuated by the stories they write on there.     they're a little quick to pull the trigger on the bans over there, no?

"rev": The man claims to be "a modern art critic"

nothing more needs to be said. He nothing more than an overweight, undersexed, overdiscussed bum. There is too much time on this blog spent discussing him. He has no credibility.

Why won't you go and eff yourself

Mods here, why couldn’t we ban this bag of filth?

If I had the power to, I wouldn't.

As irritating as Rev is, he hasn’t done anything in violation of our unwritten rules.

notice he never denied the "undersexed" part

I guess Contemporary Art critics don’t get much?

Has less to do with his manhood.

More to do with his belligerence/victim mentality.

I love the psychanalysis.

We can keep going with this.

I was just laughing at how it’s required that guys have sex regularly for them to be a “man” – probably funny only to me though.

Well, it is our biological imperative to spread our seed…

Kinda hard to do that when certain barriers are in the way, no?

Or when the other sex isn’t holding up their end of the bargain?

I don’t know, it just made me chuckle. If I hadn’t already made the choice to abstain until marriage, it probably wouldn’t have been as funny.

Christian?

I was just going to ask if you were religious. Yes, sex and manhood have been tied together since way before someone made up the Christian faith…

Its evolution, either you have sex and procreate or your DNA dies and a stronger person who understands the purpose of life passes their genes to the next generation.

SO yes, if you want to be a man, you must have sex. Its biological and called survival.

PS. I really think someone who has never had sex should refrain from discussions about sex. You don’t have the necessary information to make a credible argument.

Incorrect

He has made decisions about sex. He has every right to participate in a discussion about sex, so long as it isn’t about performance. His opinions on anything that has been discussed thus far are as valid as yours or mine, they simple are from a different perspective.

Catholic (although starting to drift).

And I can make kids once I’m married; I try not to think of life as a petri dish.

Hey, that wine is watered down.

I enjoy the whole self-punishment thing the most, actually. And if we’re going to go stereotypes: I’m 99.99999% sure I’ll be doing more than my part to populate the Earth once I’m married. :)

Trust me, personal diary FanPosts aren't the best way of doing this.

Yes, Rev is the Stalin of SB Nation. Move on.

but i didnt want to discuss him. just vent and get some sympathy

Constructive venting.

We’re not going to get Rev fired, so why not put the energy into discussing the Sox?

Let's all just forget about him.

I don’t think about him anymore, and I don’t read what he has to say.

Banned as well

For (gasp) posting a picture in a game thread.

Although it might have just been my name.

I was banned in 07

I took the banning as a badge of honor, you should too.

Got banned after the Yanks won the other night

Called the Rev batshit insane for saying the umps swayed a 10-1 blowout.

He’s a tool.

I didn't like the old one very much. I didn't see the ball there very well. - Julio Lugo on the old Yankees Stadium.

BTW

The Angels are losing by a run tonight. If they lose this game, they have a legit beef about the homeplate ump. That ball four call on Posada in the top of the 7th was awful, and probably changed the outcome of the game.

I gotta go 'cause I'm probably definitely gonna nod out again.
