I wish there was some footage of him doing some real fielding. His swing looks a bit long, but he’s young.

Same thoughts
Interesting how a “scouting” video has fielding clips from between innings. Not really a good judge of … anything.
Long yes, but also quick hands and wrists
Long swings are ok as long as your hands and wrists are quick enough and you can still get the bat head on the ball. Usually your Avg will go down but some players are gifted enough that they don’t have to change it.
It will be interesting to see what the Sox do with him.
