Yep, he's pretty bad

He doesn’t know how to use a bullpen. He routinely overuses “his” guys. And, his management of the top of the 13th inning in Game 5 cost the MFY the series.

I don’t really know how much credit he deserves for his time with the MFY and dodgers, but I don’t see him winning another WS.

Those Yankee teams had a few HOF’ers in their prime as well as tons of good players. Not too hard to manage. His Dodgers team has one of the best young cores in all of baseball. He’s a good manager but his timing is impeccable.

So at roughly the same time the Sox are in the process of winning game 4

back in 2004, the Yanks are winning game 2 in 2009. Also, that game 7 of the ALCS in 2003 was held the same day as game 1 of this year’s. Why the Hell are games being held later and later? Does Selig eventually want to have the World Series compete with Thanksgiving football?
